1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
As a wife of 16 years and mother of three, I take most pride in my family and our special traditions: dinner together every night, Guitar Hero tournaments, Sunday mass. We are a close-knit group who have strong faith and believe in one another.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
My hero is my husband, Barry. He has tremendous work ethic and self-discipline, yet is a respectful, compassionate, and loving husband and father. Plus, he can fix ANYTHING! He is an exceptional role model for our children.
3.What do you love to cook and why?
My most prized possession is my education. Things and people will come and go, but the experiences I gained to secure a successful future will be with me always. As an educator, it is a lesson I build a curriculum around.
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
Growing up, I was called the “Frog” because I was a competitive swimmer and spent all summer in the pool. My stroke was the butterfly, and I was quite good. Ironically, I could never master the breaststroke – which looks rather frog-like.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
My favorite season is fall, even though the weather doesn’t change in south Louisiana until late October. With it comes a new school year and new mentor students, visiting the plentiful harvest festivals, and cheering on our New Orleans Saints on football Sundays!
