1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
The integrity, class and caliber of everyone who is part of the International family are what attracted me to the system when I first competed in 2006. Family, faith and a commitment to community are qualities I live by and share with International pageant system.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
Life has brought many storms to season my journey. Heart disease claimed my parents. In January, my husband and I welcomed our miracle of a son who spent more than 130 days in the NICU. Andy and I have spent five years working with the USO and ASY.
3.What do you love to cook and why?
There always needs to be balance as health comes in so many levels. Physical activity definitely helps to keep me on track which is why I work out regularly with my husband. But we also try to be better people and to grow as a family spiritually and mentally.
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
My husband Andy and I know first hand the struggles military families go through. Overseas deployments and the dangers of war have created for us an extended family of support. Values are those you live by, believe and achieve. My husband makes me a better because of that.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
SHOES AND REALITY TV! Can you have too much of either I also tend worry which serves me well as a mom and military wife. (If there isn’t anything to worry about, I worry “why not?”)
